Our Tip of the Day:
On abnormally warm autumn days like today, or any time you allow your furbabies some window whiffies, please don't forget to employ window safety! Always try to closely monitor your furbaby's window activities, such as to ensure that they are not scratching at the screen or applying too much pressure to it, which could lead to the screen popping out of its frame and making for an easy escape. If you are unable to closely monitor your furbaby but wish to keep the window open, consider using the anti-theft tabs that many windows have these days, which block the window for opening very far. You can also try to find or fabricate some miniature gates or grates that fit inside your window and thereby block direct access to the open window's screen but still allow air flow. And keep in mind that your furbaby, perhaps especially that kitty of yours, can indeed be rather unpredictable. Even if your furbaby may usually seem docile while window watching, he or she might suddenly become an escape artist at the sight of a nearby squirrel or other visitor. Therefore, please always monitor your furbaby's window time or in some ensure their safety if you are unable to keep an eye on them. Of course we enjoy window whiffies, but we also want those furbabies safe and sound!

Astrid, what a great picture of you. Love how you rest your chin on the window sill. You all have a great day.
Very cute photo of Astrid. And a great tip, when I first got Brody I wasn't sire if he would try to escape so I only left his window open a little with the safety latches on. Turns out he doesn't want to escape though and is fine with all our screens now. :)
Good tip, and one we can't stress enough too! Beautiful Astrid, gorgeous in all colors.
Hi Sweet Astrid!! DakotasDen
Beautiful picture. Mudpie is very excited because it was warm enough to open the windows again for the first time in weeks!
Enjoy your whiffies, Astrid.
HAH! I can only get the window whiffies after the day laborers go home. TW can hardly get the windows open herself so I certainly can't. She actually has to sit on the window sill and push with all her might. MOL!
Oh, Astrid. xoxo
