Long story short, I had one taker. Evan, always the momma's boy of all momma's boys, promised me the selfie I sought. So, he posed himself in front of the Christmas tree and snapped this cozy shot:
This boy always does his momma proud. For his selfie efforts, I told Evan that he more than earned the right to star in today's art. So, I turned him into a Christmas present.
It's only one week until Christmas, and we're wishing all of you a very merry Christmas week!

Our Tip of the Day:Is your kitty extra helpful? Do they want to be right there in the middle of the action as you sign Christmas cards, wrap presents, or whip up some Christmas cookies? If so, try to give them something of their own to do. For example, get a spare cardboard box and set it somewhere just for them. You can turn it into a new and attractive sleeping spot by putting a blanket in it, or you can turn it into a play station by placing some toys inside. Your furbaby might especially appreciate it if you put the box near where you're working, so that they still feel as if they're part of the action. If it's wrapping presents that really gets your kitty excited, you might find yourself more successful if you give your furbaby their own piece of wrapping paper with which to play. As long as you monitor your furbaby to ensure they don't get themselves into any trouble, you can give them a piece of wrapping paper on which to romp around, or you can wad up a piece for them to chase and bat around. So, if you need to keep your kitty preoccupied while you prepare for the holidays, you might want to try getting innovative by giving them something extra special and fun to do.

So HANDSOME, Evan! And I bet you are just as much of a sweetheart as you are handsome! Hopefully, you got a lick or two of butter for your efforts :)
Oh Evan, you look so food next to the Christmas tree. Good boy for posing. You all have a terrific Sunday.
Evan is a real star, but not in the Christmas tree kind. Love his selfie too, and who wouldn't want him popping out of a present? purrs ERin

Evan, that really is a festive selfie! Great job! You would make the best kind of Christmas present. :)
That's a great idea in your tip!
Great selfie Evan! I love your drawing of him too. He is truly a gift from God. My cats love to help, Sammy helped me decorate the tree yesterday. And I know I will have lots of helpers when I wrap. Great idea to give them a little something to keep them busy.
how festive!
Oh, how Mom wishes any of your suggestions would work. Doesn't matter what fun things she provides for us, we must help with her projects. Evan is such a precious boy. He reminds Mom of her former shadow, Angel MacKenzie, a large but gentle ginger boy. The selfie is festive purrfection. Thanks for being part of our hop. That's a lovely festive selfie and a wonderful drawing!
so sweet!
That is a lovely selfie with the lights from the tree behind you, Evan.
OH Evan that is just the best selfie! We love it and we can see you're almost ready for Christmas.
Beautiful festive selfie ! Purrs
It's wonderful to have a cooperative model, isn't it? My pug is always game for art direction. I can plop him in a pose, and he'll hold it as long as I need. That's been a blessing as I learn how to use a new camera!

Evan, that is just purrfect!!! I bet Santa is going to reward you greatly for that one!
Well done, Evan! You look purrfect in front of the festive tree. And we think you'd be the best present ever, like in Mom's picture.
