E is for...

We'll start the day off with our contribution to the A to Z Challenge. We've come upon the letter E now, and E is for...

Elephant! I won't lie, that there elephant's eyes got a little out of hand during this doodle session. They're nearly as big as those ears. Yikes!

Speaking of eyes, Thimble found out that Evan gave quite the up close and personal shot of his eye on Mancat Monday. Not the kind of model to be one-upped, Thimble insisted on a similar photo shoot for today.

Just look at those saucers.

Around these parts, Thimble is known for her big eyes. She just loves getting compliments on them.

Oh, and yes, Thimble, your profile is gorgeous.

And, of course, Thimble wants to enter Brian's fantastic Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

We are thankful for so many things. Family, friends (like all of you!), the fun A to Z Challenge, and even our eyes and ears and noses!

Happy Thursday, everybuddy!

Our Tip of the Day:
When taking a trip to the zoo or other similar animal sanctuary, please always remember to keep all of the animals' health and well-being in the forefront of your mind. For example, though the animals may be used to human visitors, it can still be in their best interests to avoid making loud noises or sudden movements, especially when close to the animals' enclosures. Also of course avoid any actions that might come across as threatening or distressing to certain species, which might include direct eye contact or mimicking them and their actions. And of course also be aware that all species have different dietary and other health requirements, and so never toss any food or other items into the animals' enclosures, especially without permission from a staff member or other professional. That being said, one way to ensure a proper visit at the zoo is to follow all rules posted throughout the facility or in any informational guides provided. Trips to zoos and such can indeed be fun and educational, but please always remember that the safety and care of the animals there should always be a priority.
