As always, our hosts gave us some some fill-ins to get our creative juices flowing.
1. My favorite cereal is _________.
2. My prom _________.
3. The _________ thing about _________ is _________.
4. I cannot help _________, but _________.
So, I stirred up those stagnant juices in my brain, and here were the results:
1. My favorite cereal is corn Chex.
(I don't eat a whole lot of cereal these days, which may or not be in large part because I can't eat anything with wheat or lactose and the like. But, when I do eat cereal, I go straight for the corn Chex sort. I love corn, and I love corn cereal, and if I were to keep this stuff on hand at my house I'd probably go through a box a day or so. I also love making puppy chow – which I believe is also known as monkey munch and muddy buddies – using my beloved corn cereal.)
2. My prom didn't really interest me.
(I did go to both my junior and senior proms, those being 2 of the very few school dances I ever went to. Never having been anything resembling a social type, I never got excited at the prospect of things like school dances. I did go to prom, though, but I mainly just sat back with my friends while there. If I had to do it over again, I don't know if I'd go. It was pretty boring.)
3. The best thing about my kids is that they have four legs and fur.
(First, I mean absolutely no offense to any human children or their parents with this answer! I myself do not have human children, and I honestly don't see myself ever having any. I don't feel that's my calling. But, I do have kids of the four-legged and furry sort, and I wouldn't have it any other way.)
4. I cannot help saying hello to every animal I see, but that won't be changing anytime soon.
(I've done this ever since I was a small child. My parents have always told me how things like going on walks or bike rides or even trick-or-treating took forever with me as a child, because I had to stop and say hi to or wave at every single furbaby I saw. To be honest, nothing has changed since then. Not that all of these furry cuties know or care about my acknowledgements, but it makes me feel better knowing I didn't ignore them.)
Okay, now, are you ready for your weekly Eddy fix? I hope you are, because this girl has been busy. What's she been busy doing? Mountain climbing, of course!
Eddy thinks her momma's headboard is her very own personal Mount Everest.
I don't even know how this girl's face is that blurry when the rest of her was, by nothing short of a miracle, sitting still.
Sometimes it's tough finding a good foothold when mountain climbing. Don't worry, though, this girl is a pro.
See? She even does tricks. Like whatever trick that there is.
Yep, just pull that leg up there, Eddy. Just doing a little balancing act, are you?
And, of course, more blur.
Wishing everybody a fantastic Friday!
Our Doodle of the Day:
Our Tip of the Day:
For today's tip, we recommend you yet again use our doodle as an example of what not to do. To begin with, keep in mind that plants such as tulips can be toxic to cats and dogs. Always make sure that you do your research and never bring your furbaby in contact with dangerous plants, either outside or inside the house. In some cases, even the water being used to feed plants, such as those inside in pots and vases, can be potentially dangerous. This is especially the case if additives, such as plant food or any type of fertilizing agent, have been added. And also don't forget to always keep your furbabies and their activity levels in mind when decorating the home, such as with vases or other breakables. Always try to find somewhere safe, secure, and out of reach for such items. Safety before style!
