Wordless Wednesday

***
Our Doodle of the Day:

We bet plenty of our kitty furiends get excited when their peeps come home, too. (After all, peeps have opposable thumbs that are great for dispensing treats and filling food bowls!)

***
Our Tip of the Day:
We've given tips before on how a kitty or pup's nose, ears, or other areas of skin can become darker or develop freckles for a variety of reasons. Did you know, though, that loss of skin pigment, such as on the nose, can also occur? Some furbabies might lose pigmentation for harmless or remediable reasons, even such as due to cold weather or dry air. Sometimes a cat or dog's plastic bowl can even lead to a loss or other change of pigment on their nose, and changing to a different type of bowl can fix this issue. On other occasions, though, a cat or dog can display loss of skin pigment due to autoimmune diseases, cancer, or other medical reasons. This is why, if you notice any concerning change in skin pigmentation on your furbaby, do be sure to run it past their veterinarian. It may be nothing, or it may be something requiring treatment. As we always say, it's always better to be safe than to be sorry!

Great shot of Astrid and I love the drawing and quote too. Excellent tip, I didn't realize that a plastic bowl could cause pigment changes. I try to avoid them because they cause feline acne. Have a great day!

Thanks for your tip today. Mom hadn't heard of this loss of pigmentation. Astrid looks so sweet, as she always does. So happy your Space Station arrived. if you all have half as much fun as we do, you will make your mom super happy. One or more of us play everyday! Hope to see some photos or video soon. Just watch out for a lost ball. It can come out easily at that spot that is wider for its insertion. Nice that it is bright yellow and easy to find.
