I feel kind of weird sharing a Halloween doodle today, after watching snow fly through the air the entirety of yesterday afternoon. We went from summer to winter in 24 hours. I see how it goes, Mother Nature. You're just going to skip over autumn, are you? Well, that won't stop us from sharing our autumn and Halloween doodles, no it won't!
It's all about the black cats and cat-o'-lanterns in this haunted little doodle. Terrifying, huh? We hope we didn't scare you too much.
Of course, we're participating in Athena
's Caturday Art Blog Hop!
We hope all of you friends of ours have a happy day!
Our Tip of the Day:
We've made it to day 13 of our 31 Halloween tips. Today's tip is likely the last in our discussion on pumpkins, and it's also more than likely an obvious one. Nevertheless, we're here to remind you to take precautions and to keep your furbaby safe if you get festive by carving a jack-o'-lantern. Carving a pumpkin means pulling out knives or other sharp objects, which can of course be a danger to your kitty or pup. Do not leave any knives sitting where your furbaby might walk or jump, and certainly don't leave knives unattended. If need be, activities such as pumpkin carving can be, and perhaps should be, done in an area where your furbaby does not have access. This would allow for the prevention of any accidents. Also think about after you've carved the pumpkin, and do not leave the knives sitting dangerously in the sink or elsewhere. We've also already discussed safety around candles in jack-o'-lanterns, as flames are of course another danger. All in all, if you are carving pumpkins or partaking in other similar Halloween festivities, always be aware of your furbaby's proximity and safety.
So cool that you had snow! Happy Weekend! <3
Snow ? You got snow ? OMC, we still have 20 C / 68 F here ! Lovely doodle ! Purrs
Love the doodle but hearing that you had SNOW - well - it's a reality check for sure.....considering how weird the weather has been so far this Fall, somehow this isn't surprising!!!
Love, Teddy and Mom too
Wow, snow aready. So much for autumn. The doodle is terrific. Always love all the black cats.
We have not had snow yet, but lots and lots of rain.
WE love the doodle. Our Julie would fit in well as she is a black cat ;)

That's a fast weather change - poor you! Love the doodle with the cat'o'lanterns. I was planning on carving a pumpkin this weekend, so thanks for the tip - I'll carve it in the garage, away from the cats. Happy Caturday!
That is a lovely spooky Halloween picture.
That is the cutest doodle. We are never scared by black cats as we love them too, too much, and the cat-o-lanterns are adorable. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
You're had snow! That's awesome! It's still fairly warm here but windy and rainy.
You got snow before us?!?!?! Jealous! Would love to traipse through that graveyard :)
Wonderful doodle, and i do hope we don't get snow here this year. Our swamps are not built for it.
I love the doodle. No snow here yet, but I am loving the cold. Great tips, only battery operated candles in our pumpkins. :)
Cute doodle but def not scary. Are you gonna draw bat cats? Pop and TW aren't allowed to play with sharp knives so I don't see pumpkin carving in their future. Maybe I could use my claws.
Gracie and Ava say that we are not scared of black cats here. So we loved your doodle. :)
Yikes. Snow already???
Luv your drawing!
Amazing art as always!
It's been crazy weather here too, but the opposite as we seem to be having summer again here!
Athena and Marie
What a pawsome Halloween doodle! We have colder weather now too. The mom had to turn the heat on in the house!
Totally terrific doodle! We LOVE it...and Snow...Where Ninja used to live, got a foot and a half of snow last weekend!
Both Manny and Chili Bruce will stretch up and try to bat at anything on the edge of the counter, which sometimes includes knives! The Hubby knows better, but hey, he's only human, and the cats are only cats...so we keep a close eye on those two when they are in the kitchen!
