1. _________ is an awful _________.
2. I always read _________ sections of the newspaper.
3. Black cats _________.
4. _________ is my favorite treat.
1. Helplessness is an awful feeling.
(Seeing a cat, dog, or other animal, or a human, suffering and not being able to do anything about it is probably the thing that makes me feel most helpless in life. As I'm sure is the case with many of you, I especially feel this way when my furbabies are ailing or distressed and I feel at a loss for how to help them.)

2. I always read few to no sections of the newspaper.
(What an adult answer, huh? I don't subscribe to my local newspaper, or any newspaper. Honestly, I just don't read them. I get the basic news when I venture online every morning, but past that, I don't enjoy the news all that much. It's just too depressing in more ways than one. I know it's not good to live in uninformed ignorance, but sometimes that ignorance is my happy place. That being said, if I do stumble upon a newspaper, I usually look for the section with the crossword or other puzzles.)

3. Black cats are lucky charms.
(Unlucky black cats simply don't exist.)

4. A purring cat is my favorite treat.
(When I was a kid, I would have immediately thrown in some of my favorite candies to answer this one. These days, in part because I've learned some life lessons along the way and in part because food intolerances no longer allow me to eat most candies, I have a whole different idea of the most enjoyable things in life. I'd rather a purring cat than a candy bar any day.)

Now it's time for your Eddy fix, as well as the Pet Photo Fails! Blog Hop, hosted by The Cuddlywumps Cat Chronicles. These two go hand-in-hand, since Eddy is our resident blooper queen.
Eddy's bloopers are from the same photo shoot as her selfies from this past Sunday. Remember? When she was joined by a ghost? Well, not all of the photos turned out as they were intended to.
Eddy and all of us here wish you a fun Friday!

Our Halloween Doodle of the Day:
Eddy and her snaggletooth fang opted to dress up as Dracula for Halloween.

Our Tip of the Day:
Today's tip in our Halloween series is one that we have given before on many different occasions. In case an unexpected escape happens on Halloween, such as if your furbaby gets out of the house when the door is opened for trick-or-treaters, be sure that they have ID on them. A collar tag and microchip with your contact information could potentially help a lost furbaby get back to you more easily and quickly. Of course, don't only make sure that your furbaby is wearing identification, but also make sure said contact info is up-to-date. If your address or phone number changes, do not hesitate to put the correct one on your kitty or pup's collar tag and to update their microchip information. No one ever wants to think about their furbaby getting loose and lost, but accidents can happen, especially on busy nights like Halloween. So, always err on the side of caution and have your furbaby identifiable in case of of an escape.

Black cats are out favorite, for sure. That is such a cute doodle. You all have a fantastic day.
Oh, Eddy, your big head photo fail is just too cute!
Haha, the second photo fail is brilliant!
I'm the same with news and it being too miserable to pay attention to these days. And I also almost picked sweets for #4, but I couldn't decide what was my favourite and then I thought about being cosy in bed and not having to get out, so I went for long lie ins. Thank goodness it's Saturday tomorrow!
We don't get the newspaper anymore either.
It seems we all love black cats this morning. I know I sure do.
Have a fabulous day and weekend. ♥
Great answers.
Helplessness is very frightening.
I so agree with you about black cats. Great answers! Have a great weekend!
Eddy, you are far too cute to be Dracula ut you do make the cutest ever. Now you have TW fretting about trick or treat cos she signed up and then found out Pop can't work from home that day. I have a chip but who actually takes a cat to the vet to look for chips? Judging from Next Door, no one.
I love your fill-in answers! I feel helpless daily when I read of animals being harmed.I feel the same about black cats. Great drawing and Eddy makes the cutest bloopers. I forgot mine today, but will post tomorrow. My great-niece took lots of bloopers with my camera when she was here. Excellent tips, I am ashamed that all mine are not chipped.
Adorable bloopers and your answer to #4 is just purrfect...why didn't I think of that?
Don't feel too badly about ignoring most of the news, a lot of it is just sensationalism anyway.
Black cats are lucky, i agree, and so do the Japanese.
What fun photo fails, and i really like Eddy as a vampire!
I enjoyed your fill-ins! Seeing a person or animal in distress and not being able to help them is a very bad feeling. I think as long as we do what we can, others will perhaps step-up to do what we can't. ♥ Have a great weekend.
Eddy, you always make us smile!
Oh, I missed Photo Fails yesterday...I had the day off from work and wasn't near a computer for a whole day! The only parts of the newspaper that I read are the games pages...LOL!
You do such a great job with your doodles!
All of your answers are great.
Eddy peeking around the ghosty is cute. :)
I love the kitty purrs, too. Our little kitties have really loud "motors".
Have a blessed Sunday!
We don't read much in the way of a newspaper anymore, either. We don't have a television service. We get what news we do get online. We really only care about the weather anyway. Have a blessed week.
