Friendly Fill-Ins

It's Friday, which means we're here to fill in some fill-ins. In case you'd like to participate in the Friendly Fill-Ins challenge but missed the fill-in statements yesterday, we'll share them again here. Ellen of 15andmeowing came up with the first two, and I came up with the second two.

1. _________ is my _________ of the _________.

2. My favorite character on Big Bang Theory is _________.

3. I could set a world record for _________.

4. _________ is the craziest thing I've ever done.

I took a turn to fill these in myself, and you'll find those below. My answers are in bold.

1. Saturday is my favorite day of the week.
(More often than not, I have the ability to laze around on the couch with my furbabies for the majority of Saturday. This is a huge pro of being an exceptionally boring homebody. I wouldn't have it any other way, though, because nothing beats vegging out with the furbabies.)

2. My favorite character on Big Bang Theory is Stuart.
(Stuart owns a comic book store and is something along the lines of an underdog. I always root for the underdog.)

3. I could set a world record for my technological device kill count.
(This sounds so violent, but it simply comes down to the fact that I have caused the demise of a great many technological devices. Sometimes this is because I am prone to things like dropping cell phones in toilets, dropping them in sinks filled with water, and dropping them face-down onto pavement. Other times, though, I can't even explain why a technological device I'm using stops working. The fact that technology tends to rather inexplicably wane in my presence is so well known in my family, that some family members have banned me from using their devices. I don't blame them.)

4. Riding roller coasters at Six Flags is the craziest thing I've ever done.
(What a wild and crazy answer, huh? In truth, though, heights kind of freak me out. And things that propel people through the air at high speeds most definitely freak me out. That being said, I try not to knock something before I try it, so I rode all of two roller coasters during a field trip to Six Flags in high school. Never again.)

Who remembers what else Friday is all about around here? If you're thinking it means it's time for your Eddy fix, you're right.

Eddy is appalled at the lack of clearance she is given during window whiffies time. Just look at her here. Who can enjoy window whiffies when you have to so uncomfortably squash your head into the window? These are absolutely deplorable living conditions. Eddy hopes that none of you friends of hers have to put up with nonsense like this.

Have a fantastic Friday, friends!

Doodle of the Day:

***
Did you know?
Did you know that a healthy cat of average build can jump to a height of roughly six times their length? This means that some cats can jump over 8 feet off the ground in one fell swoop. This would explain why some cats have no trouble jumping from the floor to their human's shoulders, or from the floor to the top of the refrigerator. A loose comparison would be a human jumping from the ground to the top of a perhaps 2- or 3-story building. Pretty amazing, huh?

Wow - talk about restrictive window whiffies! Hopefully you didn't get a neck ache from those contortions Eddy. Mom remembers riding the roller coasters in several parks in her life and they always gave her a chill from the minute she snapped the safety belt on until she shakily got out. Why do humans do that to themselves I wonder?

Hugs, Teddy

Lorraine,

Our oldest daughter is the worse with keeping her cell phone intact. I think it the past three years she's gone through two or three. Luckily she gets the cheapest smartphone on the market that she can. They have issues all the time like not wanting to keep a charge or other things that she's described but considering her track record then it's useless to spend a lot on a device that'll get ruined either at her hands or that of someone she knows. One of her ex-boyfriends destroyed her new iPhone 7 three years ago which we helped her to get. Boy, was I steamed about that! Until she stops hooking up with losers then I don't want to help her with anything like that anymore. Thanks for hosting the Friday fun!

I loved The Big Bang Theory theory. Stuart was a great character. I picked Saturday as my favorite day too.

Hope you have a great weekend!

Great fill-in answers. That is funny about you and electronic devices. :) I used to ride roller coasters when I was younger, but nothing too scary. I have never been to a 6 Flags. Cute photo of Eddy in an Astrid pose. I love the drawing too. And no, I did not realize a cat could jump that high.
Have a wonderful weekend! XO

Eddy, I feel your pain although our windows open sideways and I can barely get my nose and a paw through the space. So your mom must have liked something about the roller coaster to try both of them rather than stop after the first one. TW doesn't like Saturday anymore. It means a 3 1/2 mile walk to and from the supermarket in almost any weather. Oh, and three loads of laundry.

Loved all your answers. You rode the roller-coaster and I climbed on one after hours. We almost got caught by the security guard. Almost.

Thank you for co-hosting the Friendly Fill-ins.

Have a fabulous day and weekend. ♥

Great answers and we have luckily we have casements in the kitchen so the cats can stand as they stick their noses out for whiffies. Have to be safe with our charges so they dont charge out

That looks incredibly uncomfortable Eddy, but you are determined! Amen to your #1 answer!!!

In college, i knew a young lady who, just like her father, could shut computers down just by walking into a room. Neither of them could wear a watch unless it was the very old kind that you wind every day. Not sure what happened to her or her dad, but unless the technology is shielded better in some way now, i am sure they still have trouble.

Eddy may not be happy with the low window, but it is certainly safer for her.

Cute peek-a-boo doodle!
