Tuesday with Winky

Our star today is black lady cat Winky. She recently informed me that she wanted to pose for some photos on my art and writing desk. This desk is one of my favorite places in my house. That being said, even when it's clean and tidied up, it's still a bit of a hot mess. That's because it's not only where I store ingredients for various art and writing projects, but it's also where I put a ton of my favorite trinkets and other things that make me happy and that inspire me.

Anyway. Winky is the primary cat in the house who is obsessed with my desk. I often find myself battling her for the use of my desk. If I'm lucky, she chooses to recline on a part of the desk I don't typically need. Like in this photo here:

Can you find Winky in there? Do you see her in the upper right corner? We've shared close-up photos of Winky from that exact same spot. Those boxes she's sitting on hold some of my stationery and crafting bits and bobs. If I need anything from those boxes and she's on them, I'm out of luck. She will literally fight me for them, and I will lose.

Happy Tuesday to all!

Halloween Doodle of the Day: Flashback Tuesday

I decided to look back and see what doodle I shared on this exact date last year. It was a doodle starring black cats, which seemed purrfectly fitting for today's post starring Winky. So, today's flashback doodle was originally shared on October 8, 2018.

Halloween Tip of the Day

We've been discussing potential dangers and toxins associated with Halloween. Today, we're going to finish that topic with a couple of slightly random yet still relevant Halloween products with which to be cautious. We're referring to items such as glow sticks and fake blood. These items sometimes make appearances on holidays like Halloween, and they might very well contain ingredients that can potentially be toxic to kitties and pups. Glow sticks can especially be dangerous if they are bitten or otherwise punctured, and fake blood can also pose a risk if ingested. Be cautious, therefore, of using these items, as well as any other items that might be dangerous to your furbaby. If you do have any of these items at your home, keep them securely hidden away, so as to prevent any emergencies.

That is funny that Winky is so protective of the box :) Such a cutie. I like the drawing too. And excellent tips.

At least you know Winky is a great guard cat. If you ever have somethings you don't want stolen, put it in that box!
