Sunday Selfies: The Hugging Aftermath

It's Sunday! And what does that mean? The weekly and always fun Sunday Selfie blog hop, hosted by our furiends at The Cat on My Head!

Yesterday was Hug Your Cat Day, which means that my furbabies got lots and lots of, well, hugs. Apparently all of those hugs left mt furry critters all tuckered out, and they decided to showcase that in their selfies for today.

It may have been Hug Your Cat Day, but pup Astrid got plenty of snuggles yesterday as well. And  she was left no less exhausted by it than her kitty siblings.

We hope you all enjoyed your hugs yesterday! Is everybuddy else all tired out from all those extra snuggles?

Happy Sunday to all of our furiends!

Our Tip of the Day:
Summer is a common time for vacationing, and in some cases this means leaving furbabies behind for a time. If you are leaving your pet in the care of another, or if you are caring for another's pet, be sure that all of the furbaby's information is left with the temporary caregiver. The pet-sitter should know anything and everything about the furbaby that might come into play, even in case of an extreme or unlikely event, such as in the unfortunate case of a lost furbaby, house fire, or medical emergency. Never underestimate the importance of a well-informed pet-sitter, so be sure to leave him or her with even the most basic of information, such as the furbaby's name, home address, age, weight, breed, physical description, gender, and sterilization status. And, of course, there is the importance of leaving the pet-sitter with such information as feeding instructions, medical conditions as well as medications and administration instructions, bathroom and/or walk habits and schedule, primary and emergency vet contact information, vaccination status, and even rabies vaccine numbers and microchip number. Of course, it is also very important to provide the pet-sitter with your contact information, such as your cell phone number and the number and address of your destination.

You all look cute even if you are tired. You are making me tired :) Great tip, the most we ever go away is one night and my Mom stays with the cats and I call her constantly ( we shouldn't even bother to go away).
