Astrid keeping guard over our American flag.
And taking a moment to remember all the heroes.
Happy Wednesday, everybuddy!

Our Tip of the Day:
Did you know that many people tend to over-bathe their dogs? Unless, of course, your pup requires more extensive grooming or gets especially dirty or grimy, many professionals recommend bathing your dog once every three months or so. That is, roughly four times a year. Dogs' skin and coat is not like ours, and they do not sweat in the same manner we do. Therefore, they do not need frequent baths, unless especially dirty. In fact, too many baths can lead to dry skin for your pup, which can be very itchy and uncomfortable. As usual, though, when in doubt, ask your vet his or her opinion on your particular pup's bathing needs.

Looking good, Astrid!
Great picture of you Astrid with the flag. Good for you for watching out for it. It sure is a good thing to remember our heroes. You all have a super day.
Very pretty Astrid and patriotic too. Good tip on dog bathing. Our local pet store has a self service doggie wash, kind of like a car wash where you do it yourself.
Very nice, Astrid!
I didn't know that about bathes. I admit, I do bathe Ruby often. Because she is a light color, she tends to get dirty quickly.
Hi Astrid! Looking good <3
I didn't know that most people over-bathe their dogs. When I was growing up, we bathed our dog about once a month. Interesting that that is considered too often. I may have to tell my sister this - she may be glad to hear it (she has a Shih Tzu right now)!
Are you looking at the flag Astrid?

That's one beautiful salute, sweet Astrid! Nothing wrong with honoring thise heroes every day, right?

such a sweetheart! Dakota only gets bathed when he goes to the groomer which averages every 8 weeks or less, never less than 6 weeks. DakotasDen
