Thoughtful Thimble Thursday

My little model Thimble is here today to show off her thoughtful pose.

Is anybuddy else having deep thoughts today?

Happy Thursday to all of our furiends!

Our Tip of the Day:
Food for thought? Just as with humans, studies have shown that diet can play a role in a dog or cat's brain function and cognition. It is believed that a diet containing sufficient antioxidants, essential oils, and vitamins such as B, C, and E can help to boost a furbaby's brain. There are diets and treats on the market that contain such ingredients and that are specifically formulated for cognitive function, which is especially beneficial as a pet ages. In addition, you can add to your furbaby's diet a small amount of certain safe foods, such as coconut oil, carrots, spinach, or blueberries, for their natural brain-boosting effects. If you're concerned about your pet's cognition, especially as he or she ages, consult your veterinarian.

Very pretty shots of Thimble. I never thought of pet diets influencing their cognitive function. I will have to look for treats with the added vitamins.

I too have a tabby, but mine is a guy tabby. I read that a cat's brain goes into decline around age 10, and that, like people, cats suffer from Alzheimers.
