That's right. A hedgehog!
Don't worry, though, we didn't forget what else Monday means. Mondays are the day of the mancat, right?
So, here's our mancat! On this Mancat Monday, Evan decided to show off those whiskers of his.
Don't let all those white whiskers fool you, though. Evan has 3 whiskers on his face that have black roots. He's not about to cover up those roots, though, as it's au naturel for him.
Happy Monday, everybuddy!

Our Tip of the Day:
Never forget that bringing home any exotic animal as a pet will require ample research, knowledge, and a willingness to learn and seek proper veterinary care as needed. Animals that could be considered exotic include hedgehogs, various reptiles, sugar gliders, and even those such as rabbits, among others. These such animals often require diets and other care that might be considered a bit unorthodox, especially in comparison to the pups and kitties to which we are more accustomed. For example, an exotic pet might require regular meals of insects or rodents, or fresh fruit or vegetables. Bedding and housing can also vary greatly depending on the animal, some of them even requiring especially large spaces or even tree limbs for them to enjoy climbing and jumping behaviors as they would in the wild. This all being said, always do all of your research before selecting any exotic pet. Can you handle feeding a pet live insects or rodents? Do you have enough space for an exotic animal to roam and jump and climb as needed? Do you have access to veterinary professionals who are knowledgeable in exotic animals? Needless to say, please always be sure to take all such factors into consideration before bringing home an exotic animal!

Great drawing of the hedgehog. Great use of the letter H. Evan, you make a great Mancat. You do a great job of watching out the windows. You all have a great day.
Evan, I have some whiskers with black roots too. Maybe it's an orange cat thing? That hedgehog is cute. Ernie calls me a hog, but really, I'm not. ~Wally
That is the cutest little hedgehog ever. I will tell my Mom and niece to check it out as they both collect them. My Mom got my great-niece a stuffed one for Valentine's Day though and she was terrified of it.
Evan is a cutie, very impressive whiskers. And that is an excellent tip, most people just get things because they are cute and don't realize how much care is involved. This time of year it will be poor bunnies.
My Angel Bobo used to have whiskers with white roots, do you know I have NEVER seen one of Cody's whiskers fall out? I am sure they had to, but I have never seen one! catchatwithcarenandcody

Be proud of those black roots, Evan! They're part of what make you uniquely you!

Your artwork is really adorable! So is Evan. Hugs.
