Evan decided to spend his Mancat Monday at none other than his beloved front door. He's been a bit upset with me lately, as when the temperatures reach unbearably hot levels, we have to shut the front door or we else we all get cooked. The other day, though, it was cooler (almost like autumn!) and so Evan got to bask in his beloved front door sun puddles.
(My goodness, you could form a whole new cat with all the fur on that rug.)
(Ah, what a view.)

Evan does look quite happy in his sunny spot by the door. It is slightly cooler today, but still humid- I can't wait for Fall. Very cute drawing.
He looks so pleased to be able to sit at the door. We're having slightly cooler than average temps lately. Such a relief! :)
Oh I can tell he is sooo happy!!! We are slowly getting cooler which is fine with me! We will be in the 80s this week but I have caught glimpses of Fall and I am thrilled! catchatwithcarenandcody
We all have fur on things; no one notices! When I pet Patty O'Malley or Sweetie, I can let the wind take the loose fur, but inside...it rolls into room corners or covers the scratcher/beddy! DO NOT LISTEN TO CAREN'S POST ABOVE...we want summer to stay for a long time yet! (We live in the same area, you see...)

Autumn tried to make an appearance last week but Summer has come back. Nights are cooler though. You look happy, Evan ! Purrs

Evan is a handsome boy guarding the door. It is cool (about 60F) and very wet here.
Mudpie gets angry with me for the same reason. I tell her that when the temps finally drop she can have the door open 24/7 if she wants until we freeze!
We've had some nice weather lately. Not too hot...not too cool. Purrfect for having the door open...just the way we like it.
