Continuing with our usual poetry theme, we have a little H of a someone new for you to meet today. Can you guess who it is, and what they do for a living? Huh? Well, there's no need to guess any further, because we'll just let you see for yourself right now.
Hannah the Harpist
Hannah has every reason to gloat,
For she never hits a sour note.
She can play any tune you might request,
And it will be nothing but the best of the best.
About music Hannah knows more than just the gist,
For Hannah is none other than a master harpist.
Would you like to hear some blues and jazz?
Hannah’s every note resonates with all sorts of pizzazz.
Or if show tunes are more your thing,
Hannah can really make that harp sing,
The options do not end there, though.
Hannah can even put on a mighty fine rock show.
So, come one, come all!
Really, you best not stall.
Hannah’s music evokes no boos or jeers.
For her harp brings nothing but beauty to your ears.
So please do sit down and settle in.
Hannah the Harpist’s show is about to begin.
As always, we had a little inspiration from a real Hannah. This real Hannah and her sister Lucy don't blog much anymore, but do still feel free to visit their blog and say hello!
Oh, and of course we didn't forget to give Hannah the Harpist a bit of a doodle of her own.
What kind of music do all of you furiends of ours enjoy? Hannah is taking requests for her next concert.
Now, on to the Thimble part of this Thursday. It's been scorching hot here these days, but Thimble and all of us here have been using that time to do some window watching from the safety of our air conditioning.
Thimble also wanted to remind everyone how pretty her eyes are. See?
Now, last but certainly not least, we are entering Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
We have so much for which to be thankful. We are all thankful for the beautiful world outside that we get to watch from our windows, and for the air conditioning that allows to do so while staying fresh and cool. We are thankful for fun, like the fun we have each week writing our poetry for Angel Sammy and Teddy's challenge. And, of course, we are so very thankful for our family and furiends, like all of you!
Have a beautiful day!

We would love to hear Hannah play the harp. The harp is one instrument you don't see very often. :)

HAH! I don't know if Hannah could play the music we like on the harp. Of course I'm partial to rap but TW has me listening to a big dose of 80s-90s punk and new wave. Yo Thimble!
Your eyes are stunning, Thimble! And I love how you're incorporating blogging kitties into your fun poems :)
Great poem! We miss hearing from Hannah, too!
