This week brings us to the letter I for this fun poetical challenge. We are of course continuing on with our usual theme, which means we have someone for you to meet today.
Iza the Inventor
Iza has a bright and brilliant mind.
Iza has a bright and brilliant mind.
She really is a one-of-a-kind.
Iza conceives the most grand ideas,
Ideas even grander than new recipes for tortillas.
Her ponderings and plans are ever so profound,
For Iza is by far the most clever inventor around.
Iza’s inventions are ever so keen.
Did you know she created a cookie that scrubs your teeth cleaner than clean?
Iza also built an intelligent fork and a robotic spoon,
And a fashionable hat that keeps orbit with the moon.
Of course, don’t forget Iza’s rockets that moonlight as socks,
Or her masterful transfiguration of rocks into clocks.
And we can’t forget about her fried chicken dispenser,
Which includes a most delectable flavor enhancer.
You’ve probably noticed by now
That Iza knows all the know-how.
So if there is something you need,
Iza is your girl indeed.
There is never need to lament,
For there is nothing Iza the Inventor cannot invent.

Okay, Thimble says it is well past her time to shine in this Thursday post. Thimble decided that, since she showed off her nose and ears for the Sunday Selfies blog hop, she wanted to show off her eyes today. She especially wanted to remind all of her furiends what big and beautiful eyes she has.
Just look at those peepers! (Let's be honest, those adorable green things make this momma's heart melt, and Thimble pretty much gets whatever she wants when she uses them on me.)

What a fabulous poem....Iza sounds very clever - I wish I could be "Mr. Fixit" for my Mama! Thanks for pawticipating in our Poetical Thursday fun.....we look forward to reading everybody's poems every week. Thimble does have beautiful greenies....but Thimble is a beautiful cat all the way 'round!
