Just like last weekend, this weekend we're expecting another winter storm. It would seem this one is bringing all sorts of goodies, including not only snow, but also ice. Thanks, Mother Nature. At least the kitties around here will enjoy the winter scene outside. The youngest furbabies in the house, kittens Tonks and Winky, especially have a grand time watching snow fall. Perhaps that's why I felt compelled to doodle them in their very own winter scene.
Are you expecting snow? Ice? Sunny skies? We hope all of you friends of ours have a warm weekend!

Our Tip of the Day:
Today's winter safety tip regards none other than frozen water. If you and your furbaby go out for walks, be careful of frozen ponds, lakes, and so forth. If you live or walk in an area where there is any sort of body of water, be very careful that you are aware of its location. Snow and ice can easily camouflage the frozen surface of water, beneath which danger awaits. To be better safe than sorry, simply avoid walking in areas where you know or think there are ponds, lakes, or any body of water. It is of course also safest to keep your walking pup or kitty on a leash and near to you, so that they cannot stray far and inadvertently find themselves on or in frozen water. A white winter scene can be beautiful, but also holds many dangers. Be aware of these dangers, and plan walks and other activities with your furbaby accordingly.

Yep, as we type this we are getting a LOT of snow up here in the Chicago suburbs! Glad we don't have to go anywhere today.
We are in the middle of snow here too, in southeast Michigan. It's forcing me to stay inside! Doesn't mean I'm vacuuming or dusting...it means playtime with the cats until they nap. Time for another cup of tea!
No snow here in West Essex, UK.
Lovely doodle!

No snow in Texas today - it very rarely snows here. But we do have some really cold and strong winds!
No snow here in Jerusalem. We had a couple of hours of snow/sleet on Wednesday evening but that was it. By the following meowning, it was gone.
But it's still cold.
The snow in your lovely artwork is probably all the snow we're going to see.
We worry about all our furrends who are having horrible winters. Us here on the west coast have had one of the milder winters and have had no big freezes or snow. I am thankful. we hope you are all safe (and warm)

Your art is SO sweet! 18 to 24 inches expected here!
Such a cute drawing. We are expecting 6-8 inches of snow. Great tips. Keep warm :)
HAH! Your tip came too late for Pop who fell on some black ice and hurt his foot and ankle. Our gov declared a state of emergency for the 3-6 inches we were expected. Now the Weather Channel app doesn't even have snow in the forecast.
We have cold, but not as bad as everyone else, i pray you stay warm and cozy.
Into every life, some snow must fall. Well, around here...
Mommy says the pond froze once but we don't believe her. She also says Whiskers went ice skating on it.
