Happy Friday, friends! Today we're going to kick things off with the Friendly Fill-Ins challenge. If you'd like to join in, please do! My co-host Ellen of 15andmeowing came up with the first two fill-in statements, and I came up with the second two.
1. _________ is such an inconvenience.
2. My favorite part of the Easter (or Passover) meal is _________.
3. I would like to find an Easter egg filled with _________.
4. For me, _________ is a deal-breaker.
My answers are below in bold.
1. Technical difficulties are such an inconvenience.
(Technology and I often don't see eye-to-eye. Talk about First World problems, huh?)
2. My favorite part of the Easter meal is dessert.
(I do enjoy me some ham, mashed potatoes, noodles, biscuits, and lots of other good stuff that's often served at my family's Easter meal. But, really, isn't dessert the best part of any meal? Every year for Easter, I enjoy making a festive bunny patch pudding dessert. I've shared a photo of this dessert in the past, and I'll share it again now.)
3. I would like to find an Easter egg filled with spare time.
(Of course I wouldn't mind finding an Easter egg filled with money, or one loaded with sweet treats, or of course one overflowing with kittens. But, the thing I really seem to need the most these days is some extra time in the day. If someone could shove even just a few extra hours into an Easter egg and hide it somewhere I can find it, that would be great.)

4. For me, a dislike of animals is a deal-breaker.
(I find it difficult, if not impossible, to interact with or trust someone who goes out of their way to express a dislike toward animals. I understand not everyone can or even wants to share their home or life with a cat, dog, or other animal, but an outward dislike of animals is a big no-no for me when it comes to considering anyone a true friend or part of my life.)

Next up, how about today's installment of the A to Z Challenge?
As we've mentioned, our incredibly weird and wacky theme is Halfoween. After all, April is halfway to Halloween. What's more, my calico angel Rosie will be starring in all of these spooky springtime doodles, though she might not be doing so willingly. Now, we've reached the letter B, and B is for bats, and of course black cats!

Are you ready for your Eddy fix now? Yes? Good, because Eddy has a gorgeous one for you all today.
Have a fantastic Friday!

Trivia of the Day
As we mentioned yesterday, throughout April we will be sharing tips and trivia related to that day's post. Most often, our tips or trivia will relate to that day's A to Z Challenge letter and the related doodle. So, for today, our piece of trivia kicks off with bats. Did you know that bats are the most likely mammal to carry rabies? The CDC has indicated that roughly 32% of rabies cases detected in the United States are bats. Bats aren't the only wildlife that can carry and pass on rabies, though. Again according to the CDC, 28% of detected rabies cases are raccoons, 21% are skunks, and 7% of foxes. If bitten by an infected animal, our cats and dogs can indeed contract rabies, primarily if not vaccinated for it. What's more, rabies is almost always fatal. If your furbaby goes outside, or if bats or other wildlife have a chance of finding their way into your attic or other areas of the home, do take seriously the option of getting your cat or dog vaccinated for rabies. Rabies vaccination is also required by law in many states, so be knowledgeable of these laws in you area.
How about another piece of trivia sort of related to the above information? Possums have very little chance of contracting or carrying rabies. This is believed to be because of the possum's low body temperature, which makes them an unlikely carrier for the disease. Another random piece of trivia some of you might very well know is that possums are a marsupial, which is still a mammal, albeit a pouched one. Possums are the only marsupial found in North America.

Great fill ins and another great Eddy fix!
I agree about the technical difficulties. It sets everything off. I had the same answer for #2 - dessert is always the best part of any meal :) We had similar answers to #4.
Happy Easter! I hope you have a great week!
Looking good, Eddy! :)
Great fill in answers. That bunny patch pudding dessert looks yummy. And we SO agree with you about #4.
We also love your doodle with the bats and black cats. It's wacky, but cute and fun, for sure.
I love your answers and your cake looks tasty. I hope you can find some eggs with spare time and money. :) Eddy is a cutie, that is a great shot of her. I like the drawing too and the tips. I did not know any of the facts about possums. Have a wonderful weekend. XO
You are adorable, Eddy!
Love bats and cats!
It's scary how similar our answers always are! That dessert is SO adorable.
Bats are a favorite. So is Eddy.
Yes, i need spare time, too, if you find a way to get some, share the secret, please.
Whoa! Eddy, that's a real glamour shot. TW certainly agrees that dessert is the best part of any meal and peeps are her fave! She needs both time and money. HAH! On our Next Door feed, more people are muted by others for commenting anti-animal sentiments than anything. Even if the animals in question are skunks and we have plenty of those in our urban town.
Top answers and dessert is always epic! MOL
Hope mew guys have a supurr epic Easter! XOX
Agree with 4!
