Evan is of course here today on Mancat Monday, though we'll admit the photos we're sharing of him are not the best quality. The lighting is incredibly odd and shadows abound, but Evan wanted you all to see how chatty he is.
Evan is always a chatterbox, but this time around he was having a chirping conversation with some lights that were moving around on the wall and ceiling thanks to reflections from this here human's phone.
Are any of you other kitties out their chatterboxes?

And now we have another installment of the A to Z Challenge.
Today for our weird A to Z theme of halfway to Halloween, or Halfoween, we decided that P stands for potions.
Poor Rosie. She can't wait until this alphabetic nonsense is done and over with.
Happy Monday!

Trivia of the Day
Has your cat ever chirped or chattered when watching wildlife out the window, or when chasing a toy? Some experts explain that chirping or chattering is simply a sound a cat makes when excited about seeing something they want to chase, sometimes doing it especially if they can't reach their desired prey. Another theory experts have used to explain chirping or chattering relates back to a mother cat and her kittens. A mother cat might chirp or chatter to prompt her kittens to listen to her and follow her. Similarly, your cat might chirp or chatter in order to get your attention, such as for you to see something they think is important.

I love chatty cats, you tell 'em Evan!
We agree with Evan - lights wanna be talked about. And birds and squirrels and stuff too. Half of us don't shut up about things like that, especially the Siamese girls.

Evan is a cutie. I like the drawing. My Angel Stinky was a chatterer.
Nothing wrong with having lots to say!
Manny has begun to find his voice, with squeaks and trills.
But I haven't seen either of Da Boyz chatter, and Sweetie doesn't either.
Evan is a cutie, in or out of shadows.
The chatterboxes here are human, not feline. That's okay, though, when a cat says something, we pay attention.
Evan I like to give the odd meow just like you do my ginger brother from a different mother
