Tip of the Day
Though this is not a topic that any of us wants to think about, we're here to give a simple and short tip on pet burial. When a beloved cat, dog, or other companion animal passes away, we have to decide on what to do with their body. Some of us want our furry family member cremated, for example, while others want them buried. That said, if you wish to bury your cat, dog, or other pet after they pass, be sure you know your local area's laws on this practice. Some regions do indeed allow you to bury deceased pets in your yard, though with some stipulations, such as how deep in the ground they must be buried. Other areas don't legally allow for pet burial, or at least not anywhere except for dedicated pet cemeteries. This could all depend on what country you live in, specifically what state or other region you live in, or could even be dependent on your living community, such as if you live within a Homeowners Association (HOA). So, as much as we don't want to think about this topic, do have some idea as to how you will want your beloved furry family member taken care of after their passing, and be aware of any rules and regulations should you wish to bury them.

No more pouting, Astrid!
The town cemetery opened a pet section a few years ago, but I'd almost rather we all be buried together someday.
Astrid is a cutie. I like the drawing too. I have had most of my cats cremated so they could still be with me and I want their ashes put in my coffin someday.
Our Bridge kitties were each cremated. We'd never be able to move if they were buried in the yard.
Hi woofie! You're a cute one, even if you're pouting!

I always had a problem with cremation until I lost Truffles so suddenly. I couldn't imagine not having her with me always and I made the decision without a moment's hesitation. Now I can't imagine doing anything else with a beloved pet.
Happy Woof Woof Wednesday Astrid!! We hope you are having a relaxing day looking out your window. We love the Halloween theme doodle. Thanks for sharing. Have a great rest of your day.

We always love seeing Astrid. :)
We have had our angel cats cremated; that way, they will go with us wherever we go if we ever move.
Astrid is beautiful no matter what.
Rosie, i wouldn't want to hang out in the cemetery after hours, either.
Happy Halfoween! MOL!
I love that Doodle it is RIPping!
