Pup Astrid's plan for today was to remind you all what a good watch dog she is. But then she fell asleep on the job.

Trivia of the Day
As is probably obvious, most cats have a similar skull type. The heads of domestic cats are small, and their snouts are short, with some of course being shorter than others. When it comes to dogs, though, there are three basic skull types. The dolichocephalic skull type is long, including an especially long snout. Dogs with this skull type include greyhounds and whippets. Brachycepahlic skulls are those of dogs with an especially short snout, such as bulldogs and boxers. The mesocephalic, or mesaticephalic, skull type falls in the middle, meaning that dogs with this skull type simply have more medium-sized heads. This would include Labrador retrievers and beagles.

Astrid...you remind us of our Woofie Cinnamon. Right now she is sleeping in the window. And we LOVE the X! Purrfect!
Looks like Astrid is sleeping on the job. :) I like the drawing. Interesting information on skulls too.
Even a good guard dog needs to relax for a moment or two.
I didn't know about three skull sizes for dogs.
Poor Rosie! And she always has the cutest expressions on her face no matter what situation she ends up in.
A good watch dog may close her eyes sometimes, but we bet those ears are still working just fine!

Adorable doodle! I think cats and dogs are allowed to fall asleep on the job. Their humans, not so much. MOL
Any good watchdog (or cat) will tell you the eyes may be asleep, but the ears are not.
Fun doodle!
So cute! Watching stuff out the window is tiring, Astrid!
All that watching is exhausting!
