Thankful Thimble Thursday

This week got away from me, and so we'll be sharing our poem for Angel Sammy's Thoroughly Poetic Thursday challenge in the near future instead of today. What we are ready to share today, though, is a thankful or two for Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

Before we go forward with our gratitude, we wanted to send our purrs, woofs, and prayers to Brian and his family. They lost their beautiful Dolly to the Rainbow Bridge this week.

We are also praying for Brian's dad Terry, as he had emergency surgery soon after losing precious Dolly. Our thoughts and prayers to the entire family.

As always, a little tabby girl named Thimble is here to share some gratitude for this blog hop. And what's she thankful for today?

Thimble is grateful that she is so skilled at stealing her mom's spot in bed, and that she can prevent her mom from making the bed in the morning. What's more, Thimble is thankful that she's cute even in blurry bloopers. See?

Last but not least, we have for you the fill-in statements for tomorrow's Friendly Fill-Ins challenge. My amazing co-host Ellen of 15andmeowing came up with the first two, and I came up with the second two.

1. I love that _________.

2. To celebrate Pi Day on Monday, I will have a slice of _________ pie.

3. I'd like to be able to _________ every day.

4. If I ended up in jail, it would probably be because _________.

We'll see you tomorrow, friends!

Tip of the Day

Today's tip for National Pet Poison Awareness Month is probably an obvious one. If applicable to you, we want to remind you to keep all substances such as cigarettes, cigars, tobacco, and anything nicotine-related away from your kitties and pups. Nicotine can be highly toxic to dogs and cats, especially depending on how much they consume. It can cause a variety of serious side effects, ranging from vomiting to cardiac and neurological disturbances. Keep any and all nicotine products away from your furbabies, and observe them in unfamiliar places to ensure that they do not ingest stray cigarette butts. If you know or think that your kitty or pup might have ingested any form of nicotine, do not hesitate to seek veterinary assistance.

Thimble, you and Sweetie!
Once the human is out of the bed, she's right there in the warm spot!

Thimble those photos are so cute! Making a bed in the morning with kitties around can be a challenge, I know that.

Thimble is a cutie. She is really working it for the cuteness factor. I love the flashback drawing. Excellent tips too.
