A Selfie Under the Stocking

Hello and happy Sunday! Today is Saint Nicholas Day, and in some cultures it's said that St. Nicholas will leave presents for children in their shoes. Evan was hoping St. Nick might leave him something in a stocking instead.

Do you think Evan got anything from St. Nicholas in that stocking under which he's snoozing? Don't worry. Evan indeed did.

Have a fantastically festive day, friends!

Flashback Doodle of the Day

I misspoke yesterday when I said we'd be sharing our last Christmas movie house doodle today. I changed up my doodle schedule a while ago and am trying to stick to it for a better routine, and one of the days I set for flashback doodles is Sundays. To try and stick to my schedule, we'll share a flashback doodle today and the final Christmas movie house doodle tomorrow. This doodle we'll be sharing tomorrow involves the house in which a certain little boy in a certain movie accidentally gets left home alone for Christmas. Is that enough of a hint? For today, though, how about a different festive house we shared last year?

Tip of the Day

Continuing with our Christmas safety tips, today we're here to tell you to beware of ribbons. Ribbons can be dangerous in the same way that tinsel can. If ingested, ribbon can cause dangers such as obstruction or laceration of the gastrointestinal tract. This is why it is important to ensure that your furbaby does not have access to ribbon this holiday season. Avoid using ribbon when wrapping presents, or do not place presents with ribbon where your furbaby can reach them. Ribbon may seem like a fun and festive part of Christmas, but it can also mean dangerous situations for the furbabies in your life.

Aww, what a sweet, peaceful photo of dear Evan snoozing. Dad says this reminds him of old Orbit once leaving a special treat in one of his shoes...

Evan, I would be hard-pressed NOT to smooch your ginger noggin ALL OF THE TIME!

Evan is a cutie, I know St. Nicholas will be good to him. I like the drawing. Great tips too. I only put bows on right before guests arrive.
