Today's selfie is sort of a blooper, but it's also sort of adorable, so we thought you all might enjoy it regardless.
The Aftermath
Rosie loved to cook and bake.
Friends and family enjoyed everything she did make.
One day, Rosie decided out to prepare a feast for everyone in her life,
Preparing everything from spaghetti to five kinds of pie.
Finally, in her quaint little kitchen Rosie set out all the many foods,
Inviting everyone and anyone so as not to be rude.
Rosie's house was soon filled with laughter and smiles.
It was the best party anyone had attended in a long, long while.
When the sun set and everyone bid farewell and went home,
Rosie walked into her kitchen, content though she was now alone.
But then she looked at the sink and said, "Oh bother."
Then she set to washing the mountain of dishes created by all of that fodder.

Tip of the Day
Today we're giving a tip we've mentioned before, but it heavily relates to today's poem and doodle, and so we'll mention it again. And this tip is to be aware of the dangers dirty dishes might pose. We all know there are foods and other items in the kitchen that can be dangerous to our kitties and pups, but those aren't just dangerous when freshly cooked and being placed on the table for a meal. After the meal, dirty dishes could have leftovers on them that could pose risks. If you have a kitty or pup who is especially curious or adventurous, don't leave dishes with dangerous leftovers on the counter or in the sink. And if potentially dangerous dirty dishes are in the dishwasher, make sure the door is securely closed. In addition to potentially toxic leftovers remaining on plates and the like, also be cognizant of risky utensils such as knives that were used for a meal, and be sure to not leave them sitting dangerously on the counter or in the sink. If potentially toxic scraps are put into the garbage, also make sure your kitty or pup cannot reach them there. All in all, even after a meal has been eaten and all that remains are dirty dishes and scraps, make sure any dangerous component are left well out of your furbaby's reach.
