Woof Woof Wednesday

For today, Astrid yet again has some shots to share from a recent visit to her grandma (Gammy) and grandpa's (Pawpaw's) house. This pup and I went to their house to visit their dozen kitties, as always. The problem, though, was that Astrid's Gammy and Pawpaw weren't home. As she always does in such a case, Astrid stared out their window in hopes it would make her Gammy and Pawpaw come home faster.

Though they did finally show back up at their house, it took them a bit of time. While waiting, Astrid sort of dozed off.

This pup of course snapped right back awake when her Gammy and Pawpaw arrived home. She loves them so much. If I'm being brutally honest, she's especially partial to her Pawpaw. He's equally fond of Astrid, of course.

Happy Wednesday to all!

Flashback Doodle of the Day

I know we just shared a flashback doodle yesterday, and Wednesdays are usually a day when we share brand new doodles, but I wanted to share a followup flashback doodle to the one I shared yesterday. The doodle I shared yesterday was from early 2019, and it starred my angel Rosie reading some books in her library. Not too long after I scribbled up that doodle last year, I scribbled up another one of Rosie again in a library. This time, though, instead of reading a book she was writing one. Does anyone remember this one?

As someone who loves to both read and write, I quit enjoy scribbling up doodles related to both activities. I of course especially love including my angel Rosie in these doodles. The above flashback doodle goes well with yesterday's flashback, or at least in my mind it does, and so I decided to share it today as a followup. We'll still only have a total of two flashback doodles this week, though. Friday is usually our second flashback doodle day each week, but since we shared a flashback today, we'll have a brand new doodle for you to see on Friday. It'll of course be yet another one in our current series of springtime doodles set in a weird and wacky little house.

Okay, I'll stop rambling now.

Tip of the Day

Our next set of tips for National Pet Poison Awareness Month will cover some of the random household items that could potentially be toxic to your kitty or pup. To begin, don't forget that some laundry products could lead to ill effects for your furbaby. For example, fabric softeners and dryer sheets often contain detergents that can be corrosive in nature. If your cat or dog gets into such products, the adverse reactions could include gastrointestinal distress, oral ulcers, and lethargy. For such reasons, do be sure to keep all laundry products well out of reach of your furbaby. If your kitty or pup does get into any such products, do not hesitate to seek veterinary assistance.

Astrid, we know how hard it is to miss the people that you love, even when they've only gone out to the mall...
Am reading a book right now, where the characters in the book start to interact with the reader; it's fascinating!

Astrid is a cutie, that is so sweet how much she loves her grandparents. Cute doodle and excellent tips. No dryer sheets here, just tennis balls and wool dryer balls.
