This Caturday confusion is our contribution to Athena's Caturday Art blog hop.
Now, speaking of art, starting tomorrow, we're going to embark on a new series of doodles. We would like to start bringing some artsy fartsy attention to furbabies who don't seem to get as much publicity as they deserve. One of the things that prompted this for us is something lovely Mudpie's mom Melissa mentioned about the difficulty of trying to find items that star torties.
When you see cute kitty items at the store, how often do you see a tortie in the mix? Not often, if you ask us. So, that got us thinking. We started making a list of all types of furbabies who tend to get pushed to the back burner. We have a number of ideas on what forgotten furbabies we could doodle for this series, but do feel free to leave suggestions in the comments!
We will kick off this series tomorrow with Ten Days of Tortie.
Happy Caturday!

Our Tip of the Day:
Do you know what holiday food we haven't mentioned yet? Cranberries! This here human loves cranberries, but are they safe for our kitties and pups? In moderation, plain cranberries can be given as a small treat to a dog or cat who enjoys them. That being said, steer clear of cranberry sauces and juices, as those contain excess amounts of sugar and other potential additives that might not be the best for your furbaby. Also be careful with special cranberry dishes, in case they contain not only excess sugar but potentially also toxic ingredients such as alcohol. As always, when in doubt, simply don't offer it to your furbaby.

Oh we are so glad you are doing Torties. We have three of them here and they are all terrific. Black cats sometimes get pushed to the back. You all have a wonderful Saturday.
That is a great doodle. One year I made a snowman with my 3 pumpkins after Halloween :) I am excited about your new drawings. Good tip. Have a nice weekend!
We are over the moon to get ten days of torties. We are huge tortie fans. Mom has a great black and white drawing of Astrid that another blogger did for her, and we have our Astrid that you did for her wedding, but ten day's worth. Woo-hoo! Can't wait. I think it looks great, snowkitty and lamp :D We love torties too, I had a little sister who was a tortie. She looked just like Mudpie <3 Pawkisses for a Happy Caturday :) <3
That is cute. They do look very confused.
We think the photo is great! Gives you something to think about :)

Your drawing doesn't look confusing to me as we have peeps in this hood who will leave pumpkins out until it snows or the skunks and raccoons eat them. Most cat food these days contains cranberries. When I was younger, I once sat in a bowl of cranberry sauce.
Oh, you're gonna kill me!!! I cannot wait to see what you have planned :) And your art is too cute!
We love the snowcat. We love Torties, long ago Mommy used to have some Torties Lady Bea and Dingo
The mom was driving yesterday and she saw a big house that had Christmas decorations up and pumpkins on the front porch. What a confused house!
A Snow Cat! THAT is totally wonderful! And Pumpkins in the snow - growing up in Calgary, Mommy remembers one year making snowmen and using the Jack-o-lanterns as the heads!
We love your drawing!
