Motivational Mancat Monday

Monday often gets a bad rap, because it means we're back to work, or back to school, or simply back to the usual grind. But, if you think of it, Monday is more like a fresh start. Isn't that nice, getting a fresh start every seven days?

Evan thinks fresh starts are nice. For days, this mom of his hasn't left the front door open because it's been pretty darn cold here in our corner of the world. But, very recently, it warmed up for a bit, and so Evan got some time at his front door. That's a nice fresh start, don't you think?

Now, if only this here human would wipe all that nose art off the door, Evan could have a clear view.

Evan wants to know, do any of you kitty or puppy friends of ours have to suffer through gazing out a dirty window? The furbabies here make lovely nose art, but Evan sure wishes his lazy mom would just clean it off the window already.

Moving on, though, on this Mancat Monday we're also participating in the Sparks blog hop. This lovely hop is hosted by Annie of McGuffy's Reader, and is meant to help spread positivity in this world of ours.

This week, we made a quick little doodle out of our Sparks sentiment.

Have a magnificent Monday!

Our Tip of the Day:
Surely I'm not the only one who always feasts on some green bean casserole for the holidays? If green bean casserole is on your Thanksgiving table, keep in mind what all ingredients are used to make it before you let your furbaby try some. A lot of green bean casseroles involve potentially dangerous ingredients, such as onions or even garlic. For this reason, it is likely best to hold off on sharing green bean casserole with your kitty or pup. That being said, though, if you have plain green beans to serve, those can make a great and nutritious treat for that furbaby in your life!

We've meowtovation style Monday since 2011 but I like the word sparks. Thanks some cats like green beans but garlic/onion is a no no.

Evan, good to see you and we have lots of window art around here. Nothing better than putting one's nose to the window. That is one great Spark. Good one to remember.

Evan, you should see the windows around here...talk about nose art!

Your mom isn't lazy Evan, she just knows it's not worth the effort because as soon as she cleans off the window more nose art appears. I get that.

Love the Spark. It's a good way to look at life.

Have a fabulous day. ☺

I make green bean casserole at various times through the year. It even made it into a piece of fiction! ~grin~ Great quote and adorable kitty pictures.

Evan is a cutie and is sure enjoying his window. We have nose art too :)Great spark and adorable drawing to go with it. I love green bean casserole, this year my hubby grew green beans in the garden and I froze them so I am hoping it will be extra good.

Evan, we all need fresh air to rejuvenate us. You are wise.
And, great Sparks, too. Absolutely. The dance is what is important, not the total number of steps to it. The Japanese have a proverb, "Fall down nine times; get up ten."
Thank you for being a part of Sparks. I love your contributions. Hugs! P.S. xo, Astrid!

I took a picture of Mudpie looking out the window from the outside recently...and never posted them because the windows were so filthy! MOL

YES! We live on the 4th floor and the condo management hasn't had the outside of our windows cleaned for about 5 years. Next year we're getting new window so it will be a whole new start.

What a great Spark. - Oh yes our kitties often have fuzzy windows to look out as well. You seem to be coping well though Evan.

Mommy loves your "Spark" today. She says that she needs to make that her motto. Evan, our windows are covered in nose drool and paw prints all the time, especially the windows where the squirrels run across the outside sill. Even if they get cleaned, we mess them up again within hours. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
