We'll be honest. That sunny shot isn't all that recent. We know this because we haven't seen much in the way of sun for about a week now.
How about you friends of ours? Have you been having sunshine these days? Or are you like us, basking in the glory of cloudy, overcast, and rainy autumn days?
Now, we have another little something going on today. We are finally participating in the Sparks blog hop, hosted by Annie of McGuffy's Reader.

Our Tip of the Day:
Yesterday we talked about pumpkin, so now we'll give a bit of a tip on another common Thanksgiving pie. Pecan pie is popular this time of year, but do be cautious with this around your furbabies. Pecans are not particularly safe to feed your pup or kitty. One reason is simply that pecans can cause an upset gastrointestinal tract, and could also lead to bowel obstruction. Also, if pecans become moldy, they can contain a toxin that could have ill effects for our furbabies. When it comes to pecan pie, the added sugars and other ingredients are also less than ideal for our kitties and pups. So, when you're making those Thanksgiving pies, do be cautious so that you can keep your cat or dog safe and healthy.

Have a great week!We have a poem instead of a spark. So true about holiday food safety.
That is a fantastic quote - I love it!
We have had sun here. We get sun more days than not here. You are welcome to come over any time and enjoy our sun puddles with us, Evan. We hope the sun will come visit you again soon.
We haven't seen the sun much, either. It did come out yesterday afternoon which was rather nice. This week, we're under a rain cloudy sky until Thursday afternoon and it's supposed to be cooler. Autumn is really here at last! I love your "Sparks" quote for today! Although, we do not have pets I found your tip of the day interesting. I'd think if animals have problems with pecans then people do, too. I remember years ago when tested for allergens, I came up sensitive to pecans. I still eat them but maybe I shouldn't after reading your tip. You see, I have intestinal issues and maybe this isn't so good for me. I'm sure I'll ignore it and have pecan pie for Thanksgiving anyhow. Yeah, I'm awful like that. lol Have sparktacular week! ;)
You are looking mighty good Evan. Sure hope that sun comes to visit you again soon. We have had a little sun around here. Like your spark a lot. Have a most wonderful day.
We haven't seen much sun lately either. In fact yesterday, it rained all day long. You look good, Evan!
Nice looking kitty. We've had some sun, but lots of gloomy days here. It's all good.
Love your Sparks. Spot on.
Have a fabulous day. ☺
Lookin' good, Evan! And, your Sparks is also a good one! The simple truths like this are often the ones that stick with us. Thank you for being a part of Sparks. HUGS.
Today's gloom sent me back to bed for a while. ~rolls eyes~ I need to get to the gym! Thanks for the tip about pecans.
Well, it might be cool and grey, but at least it's liquid water falling from the sky!
Handsome Evan, you look super there in your sunshine. We've entered our rainy season officially, though we've been promised spots of sun later today and tomorrow, if the fog burns off, that is.
Thank you for the tip on pecans!
You're handsome, Evan ! We have cold and rainy weather since a few days. Purrs
I love that quote. It's been pretty cloudy here too, but at least we finally have some fall temps!
Evan is such a handsome boy. I hope you get some sun soon. Great spark, I have a frame with that quote on it. Perfect drawing too. And excellent tip.
Cute kitty in the sunshine. - Fun sparks. If you shoot for the moon you'll atleast land among the stars.
I'm a kitty who loves to "shoot the moon." No sunshine here.
We love your spark for this week, sweet pals! And Evan, we are glad you got some sunshine to enjoy. We're in a bit of some grey and gloomy weather here.
It has been gray and overcast for days, often rainy, mostly wetish. We are NOT thrilled with the weather TBT has chosen lately.
