Astrid's Obligatory Window Shot

The title of this post pretty much sums it up.

This pup sure knows how to put on a pouty face while gazing out the window. You'd never know that 99% of Astrid's waking hours are spent with a giant, goofy grin on her face.

Happy Wednesday, friends!

Doodle of the Day

Yes, I'm still including cat-o'-lanterns in my doodles. I'm honestly starting to consider including them in random doodles here and there throughout the entire year, no matter the season. I really just love drawing cat-o'-lanterns.

Tip of the Day

Today's pet cancer prevention tip is to steer clear of products with potentially dangerous chemicals, such as certain lawn treatments and detergents. These types of products can be dangerous for a number of reasons, just one being that some of the chemicals in them have been found potentially carcinogenic. This goes for both our furbabies and our human selves. For this reason, always do your research, check ingredients, and when in doubt, simply do not use it.

We're sure you do more than just stare out the window, Astrid. :)

Astrid, what would our week be like without a image of you being glum? Actually, I'm betting that my own face mirrors yours, 'cause I have to be inside at work all day, but I want to be outside enjoying the falling leaves.

Looks very content looking out the window! I agree with your cancer tip of the day; check out ingredients. I am convinced though couldn't prove that our corgi got lymphoma from the chemicals sprayed on the grass in a rental house we were living in at the time. There was a lawn service that came and did the service for the owner of the house. We had no say in what was sprayed (and really to be honest didn't think about it). but he did develop lumps in his neck about a year later (we were in another house at the time) and those were diagnosed as lymphoma. Sadly despite his valiant fighting he succumbed to it in December 2014 after being in remission from it for 3-1/2 years. When it came back, it came back with a vengeance. Great tip you left here!
