Caturday Art

I mentioned earlier this week that today's Caturday Art doodle would very likely star our housemates Toby and Winky. After all, when I was scribbling up my recent series of wacky Harry Potter-esque doodles, I failed to include Winky and Toby in them. So, I created a doodle starring just them. This one isn't really blatantly Harry Potter-esque, but is instead more generically weird and wacky.

Happy Caturday! And don't forget to visit Athena to see what masterpieces our friends have created for the Caturday Art Blog Hop!

Did you know?
Did you know that some studies indicate black cats might be healthier than cats of other colors? Some of these studies suggest that the genes associated with black fur color, and certain related genetic mutations, make for a stronger immune system. In some cases, study findings went so far as to suggest that black cats might even be more resistant to diseases such as FIV. Of course, black cats are not guaranteed to be free from disease, but some researchers have enough faith in these black beauties that they are using their genetics to further study and gain knowledge on feline diseases such as FIV.

MOL! We love the surprised looks they're giving that plant with a face and the book with an eye. :)

Happy Saturday, sweet pals!

Great drawing! Most of my black cats have always been healthy. Noel never even needed a dental which is why I am so shocked at her tumor.

Again, I especially love the curly tails!
The Hubby and I have decided that a black cat will have a place in our home as long as we are breathing!
