Doodle of the Day
We have yet another spooky summer scene for you today. I'm just biding my time until I can scribble up pure autumn and Halloween doodles. Can I make it at least to September before my doodles are even more obviously Halloween-themed? That is yet to be determined.

Did you know?
Did you know that the wet nature of a dog or cat's nose can aid their sense of smell? One of the primary reasons pups and kitties have wet noses is simply because their noses secrete mucus in order to pick up more scents. There are also other reasons a dog or cat's nose might be wet. One reason is the simple fact that dogs and cats can and do lick their noses on a regular basis, such as to clean it of food or other debris. A wet nose also helps a dog or cat stay cool.
The above being said, how wet a dog or cat's nose is cannot necessarily determine whether or not they are sick, as some myths indicate. The truth is that the weather, environmental conditions, and even time of day can affect the wetness of a dog or cat's nose. Some dogs and cats might also simply have a nose that is more wet or more dry by nature. If you do have any concerns about how wet or dry your furbaby's nose is, though, do consult a veterinarian.

Then why does The PO'M want to stick his wet nose into my armpit? When I'm wearing a sleeveless blouse, this maneuver can be quite the surprise!
Astrid is a cutie. I love the drawing- I can't get enough Halloween. Very interesting nose facts.

Great doodle!
It wouldn’t be Wednesday without seeing Astrid’s nose.
That's a cute and appetite-inspiring doodle! And Astrid's nose is adorable. We never get tired of seeing it. And her!
We were initially a little worried seeing a cat's head in front of Astrid as a treat. But then we realized it was a very small pumpkin.
