Does anyone else get excited for autumn by the first day of September? Or is that just me? If I'm being honest, I already have some autumn as well as some Halloween decor appearing in my house. Even more will be put out this weekend, and I don't regret it one bit.
The above doodle is of course our contribution to Athena's Caturday Art Blog Hop. Be sure to visit Athena to see all the masterpieces our friends have created!
Happy Caturday, friends!

Did you know?Did you know that the record number of kittens born in one litter was 19? This impressive litter of kittens was born on August 7, 1970, in Oxfordshire, UK. Sadly, 4 of the kittens were stillborn, but 15 of the 19 did survive. Of those 15 kittens, 14 were male and only 1 was female. The mother cat was a 4-year-old Burmese named Tarawood Antigone.

I love your sweet picture! I am a summer person although Autumn here is more like Spring (if that makes sense?)
I want to keep Summertime around for a long, long time...'cause I really don't want Winter AT ALL! I hope Tarawood Antigone had no more litters after that one!
Such a cute drawing. :)
We like fall, but are not at all fans of winter that comes right after...
Beautiful!
Mum loves autumn.
Fall and an end to the heat cannot come soon enough.
Very nice doodle, they look like they are exporing something spooky.
We love your doodle! But we're not excited about autumn just yet. We love having summer and open windows. Autumn just leads to that awful season that begins with a W.
Tomorrow is officially fall as far as I'm concerned, no question! Mudpie's blankies are washed and ready to go. Love the doodle!
Great drawing! And I plan to start some fall decorating tomorrow. That poor mama cat, that is a lot of kittens.
That is such a great doodle. We are looking forward to fall and a little cooler temps. Have a good weekend.
Cool art. The only one who gets excited about Autumn or Sept 1 is Pop. TW still associates it with having to go back to school. HAH! She hates the longer days and having to get out winter coats.
Very interesting , good job and thanks for sharing such a good blog.male tortoiseshell cat
