Caturday Art in the Kitchen. Again.

For last week's Caturday Art Blog Hop, we shared a doodle set in an autumnal, witchy sort of kitchen. Today, we're sharing a doodle set in a slightly more traditional kitchen. That being said, it's actually a kitchen we've shared other renditions of before. This time around, though, we pretty much vomited autumn all over this kitchen, added some pumpkin pie, a splash or two of pumpkin juice, and of course threw in a couple kitties and a pup. Make sense? Yes? Good. Here you go.

If that doodle looks a tad bit crooked, don't worry, you're not tipsy. The doodle is crooked. I don't believe in rulers, and that's pretty much all I can say on that.

In case you're wondering, the above doodle stars Tonks, Winky, and pup Astrid for a reason. Around here, they're the most likely furbabies to try to join you on the kitchen counter. So, I figured I'd toss their naughty behavior into a doodle.

We're of course contributing this yet another kitchen doodle to Athena's Caturday Art Blog Hop.

Happy Caturday to all!

Did you know?
Did you know that acorns can be toxic to animals? Acorns contain gallic acid and tannic acid, which can cause potential stomach upset, diarrhea, or even potentially kidney disease if ingested. There is also the risk of gastrointestinal obstruction if an animal ingests acorns. Acorns can be a risk to cats and dogs, but also horses, cattle, and other animals. For this reason, always be aware of acorns when outdoors with your animals, and of course also refrain from putting acorn-adorned decor within your furbaby's reach. Acorns are more commonly an issue in the autumn and winter, but of course be on the lookout for them and other hazards all year round.

I'd like to lick the whipped cream off of that pie. ~Zoey

Such a sweet picture! I think not using a ruler made it look quite homey and charming.

Fun doodle, and pets on the counter is the reason for bleach in a spray bottle around here -- sanitize, sanitize, sanitize.

Acorns can be safe for humans, but you have to process them the right way first, and i don't know if they taste good enough to be worth the trouble, so i leave them to the squirrels.

I LOVE the drawing! Can't get enough fall here. I did not know that about acorns. I figured if squirrels eat them then they would be safe.

The Hubby has a couple of old yardsticks, that he uses to 'measure' but he's just eyeballing it...
